Hiphop Scenes is a website that was conceived by underground rapping/producing wonder Emerge, in 2004, with the intentions of being a platform to showcase the best of the independent Hiphop culture, and nurture an environment where up-and-coming artists can sharpen their skills and interact with like-minded people. As well as the love of Hiphop music, native to the site, it also nurtures other avenues of expression, such as Hiphop graphic art, poetry and short fiction. It is a place where you can learn about the culture, improve artistically, debate on hot button political and religious issues, or just shoot the breeze with talented people. With the wide variety of individuals, backgrounds and forms of art, in the end, it all filters back down to everyones love of Hiphop culture. This Myspace page was created to pay homage to the site, and showcase the best of HHS, whether it be the verbal acrobatics of lyricists, such as Vivid, Big Slick, AlcaTrakz and Salvation, or head banging production, from such artists as KOP, Ether, and Emerge(the site creator, himself). The featured songs will change often to celebrate all of the talent at HHS, and show our artists evolution in the culture, as well as our depth of talent.
